Vinyasa Flow Levels 1&2
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,”  Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow.  Expect to move and breathe smoothly from one pose to another.  Your class will most likely include a variety of Sun Salutations and posture sequence will vary in each class. Our Vinyasa classes are suitable for Levels 1&2. Sweat, get your workout on in this invigorating class!

Mindful Vinyasa (Yin&Yang)
A slower, more intentional progression of postures linked together with breath for an intense yet relaxing physical and spiritual practice. Using principles of mindful vinyasa, focused on internal and alignment cueing. Bring greater awareness to a flow-motion practice through this breakdown of beginners and advanced poses in careful, controlled movements. Poses may be held longer to challenge and encourage a deeper physical opening in the connective tissue. Generate a deeper understanding of the body and the structures of movement, allowing for a fuller inner-body exploration and self-study. Learn how to self-adjust for imbalance and injury, leading to an integrative, invigorating practice.  All Levels.

Qi Gong
Discover the power of self healing through moving meditations to create a relaxation response to stress, sharpen the mind, enhance the immune system, and even reverse the aging process. It is a different approach to health.  Instead of a high physical intensity work out, it is slow gentle movements and coordinated breath to allow you to cultivate your qi, or life force energy.  Think Tai Chi, but not martial arts based.  The exercises are simple, repetitive, and build your energy instead of depleting it (like working out at the gym for example).  You learn how to defend yourself against illness and emotional stress, and break the patterns that contribute to your stress.  Just one class will leave you feeling centered, calm, and self aware. All Levels.

Yin with Reiki
The extended hold of Yin Yoga poses apply moderate pressure to the connective tissues- the tendons, fascia, and ligaments restoring elasticity and flexibility. On an energetic level, Yin enhances the flow of prana (life force) in the tissues around the joints, where energy often stagnates resulting in better organ health, immunity, and emotional stability. A more meditative approach to yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of one’s inner silence and stillness. Turn raging out of control emotions into grounding peaceful bliss. Each student will receive generous doses of individual Reiki- treating multiple parts of the body to create physical and energetic balance.

Restore and Relax
Reverse the effects of stress and restore vitality. Slower paced Vinyasa Yoga with gentle stretching will warm the muscles and create space in the body to prepare it for a deep relaxation. This class will have you feeling nourished and well rested. All Levels.

Bhakti Flow
Bhakti explores the wonderful release that can be found by discovering your own voice.  In these sessions expect to chant mantras in sanskrit and english while in asana. Your voice is a powerful tool for cultivating radiant health, abundant power, and focused energy.

Gentle Hatha
Learn the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga with a simple breakdown of postures. A well guided slow progression of postures to warm the muscles and stimulate circulation with some gentle flow in between. Hatha-Vinyasa is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.  Find a perfect harmony of balance, strength and flexibility. We will explore alignment principles and breathing techniques increasing body awareness and flexibility. Great for runners!
