A Kundalini Chant of Remembrance, Sound Healing & Community Ofrenda  with Steph Lopez
for Dia de los Muertos | November 1

Offered in Spanish and English

Dia de los Muertos offers a sacred opportunity to remember those who have walked before us—to honor our loved ones, our ancestors, and the bonds of love that continue beyond the physical world.

In this special Kundalini practice, we will come together in remembrance through the ancient chant Akaal, meaning deathless or beyond death. In the Kundalini tradition, Akaal is chanted as a prayer for the peaceful transition and liberation of the soul beyond the physical body.

We will chant Akaal 10 times, dedicating each repetition to a loved one, ancestor, or soul we wish to honor. Through the vibration of the mantra, we create a space for remembrance, release, and love—allowing grief to be witnessed while connecting with the timeless nature of the soul.

The chanting will gently open into a 1hr. sound meditation, allowing the resonance of the mantra to settle deeply into the body and heart. Sound becomes a vessel for stillness, reflection, and integration.

This is a spiritual practice for anyone carrying grief, missing someone they love, or simply wishing to honor the lineage of souls that brought them here.

🌼 Bring the names and photos of those you wish to remember to contribute to our community ofrenda—a shared altar created to honor the loved ones and ancestors who have shaped our lives. Your photographs, memories, and presence become part of a collective field of remembrance.

We will chant for them, honor them, and hold space for the mystery of what lies beyond death.

Akaal. Akaal. Akaal.
Beyond death. Beyond time. Love remains.
