Enter the temple of the heart… behold and be held at this nurturing community gathering for spiritual nourishment and self reflection.

What is a Cacao?

Ceremonial Cacao, also known as "The Food of the Gods," is a sacred plant medicine that has been used for thousands of years by the Mayan and Aztec cultures in South and Central America. It was used to solve conflicts among nations, families, communities, and played a significant role in the economy.

Ceremonial cacao is the highest quality, purest, and unprocessed part of the cacao bean. It contains a molecule called Theobromine that generates more blood flow to the heart and the brain. Theobromine has a more grounding effect compared to the jittery effects produced by its sister molecule, caffeine.

What are the health benefits of Cacao?

Cacao is known for its mood boosting effects. It is one of the highest natural sources of antioxidants, as well as a number of vitamins and minerals such as— vitamin A, B, C, D, calcium, zinc, copper, potassium, and magnesium. The increase of blood flow to the brain allows you to feel a deep sense of focus and clarity.

What is a Cacao Ceremony?

All cacao ceremonies are unique and different, traditionally shared to help tribes and communities come together in unity. The Spirit of Cacao offers us a medicine that opens the heart, allowing for a deeper, more intimate connection with ourselves and each other.

Our session will include guided breath-work, meditation, and movement, live music, song, prayer, sound healing, sharing from the heart, and a sweet celebration of life.

Join us to restore whole health, a deeper authentic connection within community and most importantly, with ourselves.

About our Facilitator, Madison Rose is a musician, songstress, caregiver, weaver, yoga teacher, devoted student and humble servant of the Earth. She heard the call to facilitate Women’s Circles while traveling the world with a Women’s Sacred Song Lineage. Her intention is to create safe spaces for people of all walks of life to come together in prayer and devotion to our personal and collective growth and healing. Working with Cacao for over 5 years now, she has developed a strong relationship with this sacred plant and is honored to be able to share it with her community in this way. She holds deep reverence, respect, and gratitude for the traditions and rituals brought forth by the Mesoamerican Native Cultures: the Olmecs, Izapan, Maya, Toltecs, Aztecs and Incas.

She looks forward to seeing you in the circle.
